Each had things I couldn't live with, this is not to say they are terrible PCs they just did not have everything I was looking for. The last one I had was the HP Envy and the Nvidia 940 could not keep up with my 3d modeling software. I bought this for 3D modeling operations and it does them flawlessly. I bought it thinking I would do a SSD upgrade but I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of the machine with the 7200 rpm drive. This thing is really fast and the touchpad has a great feel that I have not had to make any adjustments to. Sorry I can't comment on the gaming end because I don't game.I could not find a better value for this price, the 960 graphics card is wonderful!.."
